Come help your student plan for 10th grade and beyond!

Posted Date: 10/26/26 (07:46 AM)

Parents/Guardians,

The Counselors at Riverview Jr. High will be holding state mandated PCCR’s (Plan for College and Career Readiness) for all 9th grade students from November 2, 2026, through December 4, 2026. In this conference we will discuss:

  • Fill out your class request form for 10th grade

  • High school graduation requirements

  • Review the students 4-year plan for high school*

  • Academic standing

  • RISE scores and set goals for this school year

  • What “college” means and paying for college

  • Careers

These conferences are much more effective when parents attend with their students.  We invite you to go on line to our scheduler and schedule a date and time that will work best for you.  If you need a time that is not on the schedule, please contact our counseling secretaries to make arrangements for a time that will work with your schedule. Also, if you cannot be physically present, we can hold the conference by phone or zoom, please contact us to let us know if you would like it on zoom or via phone.

If you have not signed up for an appointment by November 2, we will assign your student an appointment date and time.

Please use the following steps to access the on-line scheduler:

or go to Riverview’s web site at https://riverview.murrayschools.org/, click on Parent Resources       at the top of the page

  • Scroll down and you will see the icon for the Online Scheduler about halfway through the page

  • After clicking on the ONLINE Scheduler icon, click on the dropdown arrow where it says Hillcrest Junior High and change it to Riverview Junior High, then click on go

  • You will then be asked to put in a password which is: rjh.  Type in your students Id # which is his/her 5 digit number used for lunch and computer log in.  If you don’t know your students Id #, the system will let you look it up.

  • It will then prompt you to verify your student’s birthday.  Once you have done that, follow the steps on the screen. Please make sure you enter in your e-mail address to ensure you receive a reminder about your appointment.

We look forward to meeting with you and your student during the next few weeks.  Due to numbers, your student may be assigned to a different counselor than listed below. If you have any questions regarding PCCR conferences, please call the Counseling Center at 801-264-7481 and we will be happy to answer your questions.
