REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS DURING THE SUMMER
ONLY APPLIES TO STUDENTS NEW TO THE DISTRICT
Registration for students NEW to Murray District typically takes place the 1st Thursday of August. Please contact the front office at 801-264-7446 for specific dates and times for the current school year.
Step 1: You MUST provide the following to the Counseling Center (Room 4) to register your student:
☐Original certified Birth Certificate or Passport
☐Proof of legal guardianship if not the parent
☐Immunization Record Link for required 7th grade immunizations: https://slco.org/health/immunizations/
☐If you live in Riverview boundaries, proof of residency which may include a copy of lease or mortgage
payment or a utility bill and bank statement within the last 60 days.
☐ If you are living with a family member who lives in the Riverview boundaries you will need to provide:
a. a notarized Affidavit of Residency form
Contact AnnMarie at 801-264-7400 to schedule an appointment if you would like to have the Affidavit notarized at the District Office. Both the parent and family member must sign the Affidavit in the presence of a notary.
b. proof of address for the family member you are living with which may include a copy of lease or mortgage payment or a utility bill and bank statement within the last 60 days.
☐If you live out of district or are a Murray District resident but live in Hillcrest Junior High boundaries, you
must have an approved Non-Resident Application on file. Applications can be filled out online using the following link: https://www.murrayschools.org/proof-of-residency/enrollment/
Step 2: Complete the online registration process:
If your student has NEVER been enrolled in Murray School District register online BEFORE new student registration day at https://www.murrayschools.org/registration-page/
**If your student has EVER previously enrolled in Murray District you will need to register online in the
Counseling Center with staff assistance when you bring in the required paperwork.
Step 3: Request courses online. Click this link to be taken to the course request information.
Step 4: In the main office, pay fees/submit a fee waiver and get a locker assignment.
